Saturday Night Dinner

On Saturday night (Nov 6) some of us are going to the Castle Hill Inn for dinner. Since it's restaurant week, the 3 course dinner is $30. They haven't released the menu yet but it should be up in the next month. If you'd like to join us, and all are welcome, please let me know by October 16 so that I can make a reservation.

Hi girls! Here are a few suggestions on what to do while in Newport. Again, the weekend is completely at your leisure so do as many or as few things as you want. If you want to search for more options, you can visit the Newport Tourism Board and read the Newport Travel Guide.

Comedy Show - tickets are $10 and it's BYOB

Newport Mansions - take a tour of the historical mansions of RI

Brewery - Visit Newport's Extreme Coastal Brewery - famous for the Newport Storm microbrew

Spa - Pamper yourself with some spa treatments. The Stillwater Spa in our hotel has been voted the Best Spa in RI

Wineries - There are 3 local wineries: Newport Vineyards, Sakonnet Winery, and Greenvale Winery.

Cliffwalk - It's FREE and there is a ton to see. A must-do in Newport.

Initial Information

Hi Ladies!

I am getting a group of girls together for a girls weekend in Newport, RI. The idea is to invite my friends and have you all invite your friends. The more the merrier. The weekend will be super relaxed and you can do as much or as little as you'd like. I'll be up there from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. If you'd like to come the whole weekend, that's great. If you just want to stay one night, that's fine too. I'll be planning some activities which anyone is welcome to join in on...or you can totally do your own thing.

Here are the vital stats:

Dates: November 5-7, 2010

Location: Newport, RI
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Newport. Right now for two nights the total hotel cost is $383. If you have four people in your room that's only $95 per person for both nights. Book your rooms early. If we get enough for a group rate, I'll have our rates lowered. You're more than welcome to look into and stay at other local hotels or inns if you'd prefer!

Activities: I'll be confirming activities as we get closer. You're welcome to join in whatever you'd like or do your own thing. Some fun things to do in Newport are the Mansions, Wineries, or hit the spa. This weekend starts restaurant week in Newport so we'll be doing a nice dinner at the Castle Hill Inn on Saturday night for whoever is interested.

Please pass this on to whoever you can think of that may want to join us. We're looking to get a new, large group of girls. Book your rooms early to avoid the room rate going up! If anyone needs additional people for your room, shoot me an email and I'll try and pair you up with other girls.

Once you book your room - let me know. I am going to try and get a group rate if we book enough rooms.
